Wayne is a senior consultant at AuditWatch, part of the Tax & Accounting business of Thomson Reuters, where his duties include product development, program delivery, and technical research. Wayne specializes in audit methodology/process consulting; helping firms improve the quality and efficiency of their audits.
Wayne has developed forms, practice aids, and methodologies based on the risk assessment suite of standards and has spoken, contributed to articles, and advised numerous firms on those and other auditing topics.
Before joining AuditWatch, Wayne was an audit senior manager with Grant Thornton’s Salt Lake City office. At Grant Thornton, Wayne worked with clients in various industries including manufacturing, not-for-profit, banking, government, and others. He also had quality assurance duties and training responsibilities for his business unit.
Wayne is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He graduated from Brigham Young University receiving both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Accountancy degree.
Wayne spends his non-working time volunteering in his community, and enjoying his four children and his wife, Susan.
